Annual Egg Dying - April 8th 2009

Thursday evening the family gathered at our house to dye eggs. The big kids could hardly contain their excitement while waiting. Ethan declared he was going to dye 136 eggs (the biggest number he could think of) And Christlyn of course wanted to beat him and said she'd do 137! Jadon wasn't quite sure what was going on at first but dove in with enthusiasim when he realized the whole point of the evening was to drop balls (eggs) into cups of colored liquid and make splashes everywhere!!!

While there wasn't quite enough eggs for Ethan to dye 136 and Christlyn 137. We still had plenty of eggs to experiment with different color combinations and designs. I think the final count was 7 dozen. Now we just have to wait for Sunday to hunt them!!!
